Light infantry & Rifles Association 2017 Grand Draw

Your support for the Reunion Draw is vital in financing this and future Reunions. Since the draw has been in existence, returns are getting less and less each year. It is disheartening to see All Ranks at the Reunion who have not purchased any Tickets.

Draw Tickets are in books of ten @ £1 per Ticket. Some will be available and distributed through your County Rifles Offices. If you would like draw tickets sent direct to you, then I can post out. Please contact me, Patrick Warren via email: bo.diddley@talktalk.net , land line: 01922-413489 or mobile (text or voice) 07974-966912.

Alternatively and the easiest option is to purchase Draw tickets using PayPal, Credit or Debit cards which will be available via the www.lightinfantry.co.uk

Draw tickets will be available on the Friday and Saturday of the Reunion. I will be located by the Bar Marquee.

The Draw will take place at the Regimental Dinner with results posted on Facebook and Light Infantry Web Sites.

It would be appreciated if Draw Tickets could be purchased in advance of the Reunion to allow Draw Numbers to be recorded on a Spread Sheet to allow Draw numbers to be randomly selected electronically.
Draw Ticket Stubs only need to be returned to me (see draw ticket for details) no later than the 9th June 2017 to allow for Spread Sheet entry as I holiday in Shrewsbury a few days before the Reunion.

If you purchase a full book of Draw Tickets in one name, then there is only need to complete your details once on the first Ticket Stub. Please use block writing not handwriting in completing your contact details. Please don’t separate the stub tickets into individual Tickets. Keep the main part of the Ticket for your own records.

Please make cheques payable to: Light Infantry/Rifles Association Draw not to Rifles County Offices.

Previous Reunions relied heavily on the old boy’s network, where Light Infantry staff was still serving and able to provide logistics, resources and manpower at no cost. This doesn’t happen anymore. Everything has to be paid for. Nothing is free except for the few volunteers who help to run the Reunion.
The Reunion Draw is currently seen as the easiest option to fund the Reunion and the 9 prizes are very generous with a £1000 top prize.

So if you like me want to see the Reunion continue in its present format, then I appeal once more for your support through the Reunion Draw, even if it’s by only purchasing one Draw Ticket.   Thank You
