The Light Infantry Club Annual Dinner 2022

The Annual Dinner will take place on Thursday 13th October 2022. As before, it will be held in the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly at 7.30 for 8.00 pm. Dress will be Black Tie without medals or decorations and the cost remains £65.00. The Club’s Annual General Meeting will precede the dinner at 7.00 pm. Having had to reschedule, the annual Rifles Officers’ Dinner will be occurring on the same day.

Attendance in 2021 was a healthy 84 and the Cavalry and Guards Club continue to give us an excellent evening and demonstrated that the Light Infantry Club remains full of vitality. Long may this continue; and with your support it can and will.

The dinner works best when officers sit with their friends. Making this possible is a difficult juggling trick but one which is eased considerably when Club members sign up early and when 8-10 friends get together to form a table. This has worked particularly well in recent years, so please act now and mark the date in your diary and encouraging your friends to do the same.

Then please confirm your attendance by returning the proforma as soon as possible but no later than Tuesday 4th October 2022.  Payment can either be by cheque, made out to ‘The LI Club’, or below using PayPal.


Please be prompt in responding – and paying – and also please remember to email your table preference to the Treasurer, Ian Foster, at liclub@lightinfantry.co.uk.  I would also be grateful if those of you who are willing to be table leaders could pass their names and contact details to Ian Foster.
